What our dental care warranty covers
Our dental care warranty applies to selected treatments completed at iCare Family Dental. If covered work fails within the warranty period due to material or workmanship, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost.

WHAT’S COVERED
Fillings: Replacement or repair if the filling fails due to material or workmanship.
Crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays: Repair or remake if they break, crack, or loosen under normal use.
Implants: Replacement if the implant fails due to surgical or material defects.
Dentures: Repair or remake for material fractures under normal use.
Occlusal splint: Replacement or adjustment if fracture or defect occurs under normal use (excludes wear and tear from bruxism or misuse).
Our warranty promise
If any covered treatment fails during its warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost. Your smile is our responsibility—and we treat it like our own.
Attend your regular check-ups and cleans every 6 months (with up to 2 months’ grace).
Maintain good daily oral hygiene at home.
Follow our care instructions for your treatment.
Use a night guard if recommended for teeth grinding.
Protect your teeth from trauma and avoid chewing hard objects like ice or pens.
Conditions for warranty
Damage from accidents, sports injuries, or trauma.
New decay around treated teeth.
Failure due to poor oral hygiene or missed check-ups beyond the grace period.
Normal wear and tear over time.
Colour changes from smoking or staining foods and drinks.
What’s not covered

No. Our warranty is a goodwill promise on top of your existing rights, not a replacement. You still keep all protections under Australian Consumer Law and your health fund policy.

We allow a grace period of up to 2 months. If check-ups are missed beyond this, the warranty may no longer apply because we cannot monitor and maintain your oral health properly.

Your dentist will assess whether the issue is related to material or workmanship, or whether it is due to new decay, trauma, or other excluded causes. We will always explain our reasoning.

The most important things are: attend your 6‑monthly check-ups and cleans, follow home care advice, wear your night guard if recommended, and contact us promptly if you notice any issues.
